Iran will take part in joint naval drills with Russia and China in Autumn 2022,  the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces announced on Thursday.

The Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri made the announcement on the sidelines of the military parade of Sacred Defense Week on Thursday.

Other countries including Oman and Pakistan may also join the drills, Major General Bagheri said, without giving further details.
