The Khuzestan Border Commander Lotfali Pakbaz has announced the confiscation of 20,000 smuggled fuel in the northern waters of the Persian Gulf.

Two vessels have been confiscated in separate operations in this regard, the commander pointed out.

Some eight smugglers have been detained in the operations, he further noted.

The operations were carried out in the implementation of a plan to monitor borders and prevent the withdrawal of national funds and any smuggling, he underlined.
