Iranian freestyle wrestlers won three gold, one silver and one bronze medals on the second day of the Islamic countries freestyle wrestling competitions in Konya, Turkey.

In 125 kg, Seyyed Mehdi Hashemi Joibari defeated his Turkish opponent Salim Ercan 8-0 and won gold medal. In 92 kg, Ahmad Bazri could also outscore his Turkish rival 4-0 and gained gold. In 79 kg, Ali Savad-Kouhi beat his Turkish rival and got gold also.

Therefore, Iranian athletes won three gold medals on the second day of the Konya competitions. Iran now have five gold, two silver and two bronze medals in total.
