Deputy spokesman of Taliban Ahmadullah Wasiq has described talks in Tehran between Taliban and Iranian delegations as constructive.






Speaking to media in Afghanistan on Monday, Wasiq said talks in Tehran were focused on security, transit, trade, and energy issues.

Also, the two reviewed issues related to bilateral relations, he added.

An Afghan delegation headed by acting Foreign Minister of Afghanistan's Taliban Amir Khan Muttaqi traveled to Iran on Saturday and held talks with senior Iranian officials including Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.
