The trade between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Iran reached around 9.5 million tons valued at 7.303 billion dollars in the first five months of the Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2021 to August 22, 2021).
Iran's Customs Administration spokesman RouollahLatifi made the remark on Saturday, noting that the trade exchanges increased 24 percent and 54 percent in terms of weight and value respectively.
According to the official, the Islamic Republic has always attached importance to cooperating with neighboring states in political, economic, and security affairs; thus, the regional trade volume experienced significant growth in recent years.
