The foreign ministers of Iran and Germany made arrangements for the shipment of coronavirus vaccines developed by German company BioNTech to Iran.
In a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian on Thursday, Minister for Foreign Affairs of Germany Heiko Maas expressed his country’s readiness for all measures in order to supply Iran with the BioNTech vaccine for the coronavirus.
Maas also hailed Iran for facilitating the evacuation of German citizens from Afghanistan, called for the immediate restart of the Vienna talks for the revival of the 2015 nuclear deal, and voiced Berlin’s readiness to enhance relations with Tehran in various fields.
