The IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Hossein Salami spoke with the head of political office of Hamas Movement Ismail Haniyeh, about the victory of the Palestinian nation in battle of the 12-day Quds Sword.
In the telephone conversation, Haniyeh deeply appreciated Iran's firm position on Palestinian rights in various political fields and Tehran's standing by the Palestinians and resistance groups.
He also said that the Palestinian resistance created a heroic epic and defeated the bullying of the Zionists.
Haniyeh added that the balance of power has changed on the battlefields and Palestinian people have rejected the occupation and its policies and measures across the country.
In this conversation, the brigadier general Salami also praised the achievement of the Palestinian resistance groups.
He stressed that Iran is ready to provide all kinds of assistance to the Palestinian people and the resistance forces in all areas and will never relinquish its role in this regard.
For several years, the Palestinians have changed their tactics against the Zionist regime's aggression, turning the resistance from stone to rocket, a tactic that can continue to achieve a balance of power in the occupied territories.
Last Monday (on May 10), the Israeli army launched its invasion from air, land and sea to the Gaza Strip, but did not expect to be met with a missile strike from the Palestinian Resistance Front.
