IRNA - Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Jalal Firouz-Nia on Friday voiced Iran’s readiness to help and support the Lebanese nation as well as the government.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Maronite Cardinal Patriarch Bechara Boutros al-Rahi, noting that Iran's support and cooperation with the Lebanese Government are in line with the interests of the country.

The senior diplomat underscored that Tehran urges boosting the Lebanese national unity in the present situation.
