Financial Tribune - The Consumer Price Index of "food and beverage" group in the 12-month period ending May 20, which marks the end of the second Iranian month, increased by 31.6% compared with last year’s corresponding period.

According to the Statistical Center of Iran, with a coefficient of 26.64%, the group’s CPI stood at 242.6 in the month ending May 20, indicating a 0.3% increase compared with the month before.

The food and beverage index registered a year-on-year increase of 11.9%.
