SHANA -- The Director of Integrated Planning at the National Iranian Oil Company said the fate of all Iranian oil and gas joint fields had been determined except for one small field.
According to IRNA, Karim Zobeidi said that the development of joint oil and gas fields was under way in Iran, adding: "The only joint field that has not yet been determined is a small field from which the other country is not producing any hydrocarbons."
He added: "Operations are under way in the rest of the joint fields, and in the West Karoon region, with the implementation of development projects, Iran is still producing more than Iraq."
The Director of Integrated Planning at NIOC added that final studies for developed Farzad A and B offshore fields was under way at NIOC, adding development of the last phase of South Pars gas field, which is shared with Qatar in the Persian Gulf, had started by loading the jacket of the phase’s platform.
