MNA – The deputy head of Iran's nuclear agency Ali Asghar Zarean announced on Saturday that the country will unveil the latest generation of domestically grown uranium enrichment centrifuges with capacity of 50 SWU (Separative Work Units).
He made the remarks in the opening ceremony of Exhibition of Nuclear Industry Achievements in Bushehr.
The official added that the new generation will be inaugurated in March 2020.
In September, Iran said it had started developing centrifuges to speed up the enrichment of uranium as part of steps to reduce compliance with the 2015 nuclear deal following the withdrawal of the United States.
