SHANA -- The CEO of the Iranian Oil Terminals Company (IOTC) said the company was serious in exploiting the equipment and services offered by domestic companies.
According to IOTC, Abbas Asadvouz told a technical meeting of the company that tapping the potentialities of domestic startups was also one of the priorities of the company
“Given the petroleum minister’s directive to take advantage of domestic startups and equipment, this issue has been systematically considered by IOTC in its planning,” he said.
The official further added that Iran’s oil terminal in Khark Island was regarded as one of the oldest and well-known oil terminals in the world.
“One of the main goals of the company is to use domestic capabilities in order to save costs of purchasing imported items and taking steps to ensure self-sufficiency in supplying items and parts,” he added.
