IRNA – Iranian national women's basketball team in its second match overpowered Jordan 70-62 in the West Asia competitions which was held in Jordan.

This is the first time that the Iranian squad has attended an official competitions with Islamic dress code.

Iran was also overshined by Lebanon in its first match and is scheduled to stand against Syria on Saturday evening.
