A number of Iranian screen productions including fictions and animations have been selected to be screened at the First Iranian Film Festival in the French capital, Paris.
Some six Iranian animations, produced by the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults (IIDCYA), will be showcased at the festival that is to be held in Nouvel Odéon cinema in Paris.
The Young Man and The Cunning Tailor directed by Rashin Kheirieh are scheduled to be screened on June 29.
Rolling Pumpkin by Mortza Ahadi, Mama Crow and Fox by Mohammad Ali Soleiman Zadeh, Mahin Javaherian’s White Tour and Moth Wedding from her collection of An Image of The Family are among the animation lineup that will be presented on June 30.
Taboor by Vahid Vakilifar, Women without Men by Shirin Neshat, The Last Step by Ali Mosaffa, The Past by Asghar Farhadi and Parviz by Majid Barzegar are also some of the movies that will introduce Iranian cinema at the festival.
The participated movies are programmed to be screened with French subtitles.
Iranian film festival (Cinéma D'Iran) is scheduled to kick off on June 26 and will run until July 2, 2013.
