SHANA -- The CEO of the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Trade Company said the current international conditions had not influenced export of petrochemicals by the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC).
Reza Ebadzadeh told Shana that supply of goods on the market by PGPIC was up and running just like before the US re-imposed sanctions on Tehran.
“That our customers insist on entering into yearly contracts with us is an indication of their interest in continuing their imports from us,” the official said.
He further stated that talks were under way for exporting cargoes to new destinations in the future.
The current circumstance have made things more difficult but exports are continuing just like before the sanctions, he added.
