IRNA – Iran's ambassador to Paris Bahram Qasemi emphasized the importance of multilateralism in establishing and protecting peace in the world.

The Iranian Embassy in Paris in a tweeter message on Saturday said the Ambassador has emphasized that in an environment based on collective wisdom, a multilateral world can be the guarantee of peace and security throughout the world.

The remarks by Iran's ambassador were made at a meeting with master students of international security of Institute of political studies (Institut d'études politiques de Paris).

The remarks came a few days after the United Nations General Assembly held its annual Conference on 'Remarking and Promoting International Day of Multilateralism and Diplomacy for Peace'.

Several prominent political figures in France, including four former French president François Hollande, Nicolas Sarkozy, Jacques Chirac and François Mitterrand, have been graduated from the university.
