IRNA – Senior Iranian lawmaker Alaeddin Boroujerdi held talks with Head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq Sheikh Humam Hamoudi in Baghdad late on Friday.

Boroujerdi is currently in Baghdad to take part in the Iraq neighbors' inter-parliamentary meeting on behalf of Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani.

During the meeting also attended by the Head of Badr Organization Hadi Al-Ameri, they dealt with bilateral ties and latest developments in the region.

Iraq neighbors' inter-parliamentary meeting is slated to open on Saturday with the participation of the speakers of parliaments of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Syria and Turkey.
