IRNA – Part of Iraqi people's donations for flood-stricken people of Iran's Khuzestan province, was distributed among the resident of the town of Shadgan on Thursday.

The items included mineral water, food and health care items.

Also, tens of road construction vehicles started operation to strengthen flood walls in Abadan-Mahshahr road as well as Shadgan area and among them several vehicles were from Iraq.

Transferring flash flood of Karoon River to Shadgan ponds (wetland) increased volume of water in the area and endangered littoral villages of the wetland.
