IRNA – Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in a telephone talk on Monday with Iranian counterpart expressed solidarity with the flood-stricken people.
He also voiced Islamabad’s readiness to send humanitarian aid to Tehran.
Zarif, for his part, appreciated the friendly and neighboring state’s nation and government.
Earlier, Speaker of Pakistan National Assembly Asad Qaiser told his Iranian counterpart Ali Larijani that the two nations have strong ties in the wake of their religious, historic and cultural commonalities, as nobody can harm them.
Qaiser also expressed sympathy with the Iranian nation and government.
