SHANA -- Lawmakers at the Iranian parliament rejected a bill to increase the petrol price or impose several prices to the item.
Ali Motahhari, MP, said the parliament ratified a motion which stabilized the price of petrol back in 2005 which had created many troubles including fuel smuggling.
Addressing the parliament’s Saturday open session, the MP said implementation of the targeted subsidies law in Iran caused many issues, adding ways needed to be worked out to control the issue of petrol price in the country.
