IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Hamid Baeedinejad announced Tuesday compiling and publishing confidential documents on the history of British presence in the Persian Gulf in 21 volumes.
In a message on his Twitter, the official underlined, 'In a one-year-long effort of the embassy, a collection of secret documents unclassified by the Foreign Ministry and British Defense on the history of Britain's presence in the Persian Gulf from 1907 to 1971 have been gathered in 21 volumes and was provided to Iran’s Foreign ministry’s specialized library for use of the researchers and scholars of history of Iran.”
Iran's ambassador last year in his telegram account released documents related to the British Foreign Office containing the instructions to its officials to use the correct name of the “Persian Gulf”.
