IRNA – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi described Saudi Arabia as father-in-law of Takfiri terrorism in the region and world, saying that Saudi government which is origin of organized terrorism lacks authority to accuse others of supporting terrorism.

He made the remarks in reaction to false and malicious statements of former Saudi Foreign Minister Adel Al-Jubeir in a news conference in Pakistan.

“His cheap words will never change the reality that his country is father-in-law of Takfiri terrorism in the region and world,” he said.

Instead of putting blames on others and striving for diverting public opinion from its role in creating and training the merciless groups, he should stand accountable for deep-rooted terrorism within the country’s establishment as well the crimes it has been committing in Yemen and even other countries in the region and world through hiring terrorists, he said.

“International human rights organizations have on several occasions drawn public opinion to the Saudi Arabia’s human rights violations, but the country is still supported by the US and western societies,” he said.
