IRNA – Iran’s agricultural products' exports have increased from $500 million in the early Islamic Revolution to $5.5 billion now, said an advisor to Agriculture Jihad minister.

Hassan Rokni told the inaugural ceremony of an animal food factory that today 20 types of dairy products are exported, indicating suitable conditions of production in the country.

“Agricultural production has raised to 122 million tons now from 26 million tons in early Revolution,” he said.

Chicken production has increased from 160,000 tons to 2.3 million tons and milk production reached 10.7 million tons from 2.6 million tons, the official said.
