IRNA – Some 36.284 million passengers were transferred by airports belonging to Iran Airports Company over the past 9 months, according to a report published on Sunday by the Company’s information center.

The report said that the airports belonging to Iran Airports Company have made more than 300,000 take-offs and landings over the nine-month period, transferring the above-mentioned number of passengers and carrying over 365,000 tons of cargos and postal parcels.

Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport registered 95,153 take-offs and landings in the mentioned period transferring over 11 million passengers to be the country’s most crowded airport, the report said.
