IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, heading a politico-economic delegation, arrives in the City of Baghdad, Iraq on Sunday.
Senior managers of several Iranian state and private sector companies are accompanying Zarif during his trip, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said.
Holding talks with high-ranking Iraqi officials, taking part in Iran-Iraq joint trade conferences in Karbala and Sulaymaniyah are also on Zarif's itinerary.
Iranian Foreign Minister is also supposed to hold talks with his Iraqi counterpart Mohamed Ali Alhakim, President of Iraq Barham Salih, Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi and Speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq Mohamed al-Halbousi.
