IRNA – An Iranian traffic police officer, Major Gholam Hossein Jandoost, was killed by some unknown attackers in Zahedan, southeastern Iran.
Speaking to the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Tuesday night, Sistan and Baluchestan police commander said that investigations are underway to find the attackers.
Based on the reports, riders of a motorcycle started shooting toward a traffic police car, killing a police officer and injuring a soldier.
The injured soldier has been taken to hospital.
