IRNA – Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani-Fazli said no development in the region will be likely in Iran's absence.
Iran's influence in the international scene is proven and without Iran's presence no development in the region would be likely,' Rahmani-Fazli told a group of economic officials in a meeting on Thursday.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran is now an influential country internationally.
The interior minister said Iran is so influential in the region because of abundant commonalties and affinities with others, especially with the neighbors, so much so that they have common destiny with them.
When the countries are invaded and subject to enemy's covetous plans, Iran will spare no efforts to help them if asked so, he added.
Elsewhere in his remarks, Rahmani-Fazli said the US is now alone internationally and the IAEA, Europe, Russia, China and regional states do not cooperate with it.
