IRNA – The 12th meeting of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APSCO) was held with the attendance of 8 countries, including Iran, in Beijing, China on Wednesday.
Head of space organizations of Bangladesh, China, Iran, Pakistan, Thailand, Mongolia, Peru and Thailand participated in the event.
The APSCO meeting which is held annually is aimed at identifying plans of the body with the attendance of senior officials of space organizations.
The meeting is also to mark the 10th anniversary of the Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization establishment, to reinforce APSCO cooperation with other international organizations and to hold APSCO annual Symposium.
APSCO is an inter-governmental organization operated as a non-profit independent body with full international legal status. It is headquartered in Beijing, People's Republic of China.
