IRNA - Director General of Fisheries Organization of Mazandaran province said the province’s aquaculture exports rose by 125 percent in terms of the value over the last seven months by hitting $ 2.18 billion compared to the same period last year.
Valiollah Mohammadzaded said Tuesday that 4,000 and 230 tons of aquaculture were exported from Mazandaran in the seven months of this Iranian year (starts in 21 March).
“In this period, 3,000 tons of warm water aquaculture were sent to Iraq and Afghanistan at a value of 2 million dollars,” he affirmed.
