IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for Istanbul, Turkey, Monday morning to attend the 6th trilateral meeting between foreign ministers of Iran, Turkey and Azerbaijan.
The previous trilateral meeting of Mohammad Javad Zarif, Mevlut Cavusoglu and Elmar Mammadyarov, the respective foreign ministers of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Turkey and the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held in Baku on December 9, 2017.
The top diplomats are expected to exchange views on the prospect of strengthening regional cooperation and reviewing decisions taken at previous meetings.
