IRNA - The sixth meeting of Iran-Pakistan Permanent Border Committee commenced in Pakistan’s southwestern city of Quetta on Monday.
Representatives of customs, security forces and other officials from Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan and Pakistan’s Balochistan Provinces are taking part in the two-day meeting.
Chairman of Sistan-Baluchestan Industry, Mine and Trade Authority, Mir Nadir Shikar is heading the Iranian delegation.
Members of Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (QCCI) are also attending the meeting.
Pak-Iran border affairs, security issues, trade activities on border villages and mutual cooperation will be discussed in the meeting.
The committee regularly meets to enhance joint cooperation. The 5th meeting of the committee was held in Zahedan.
