Tasnim – A passenger train derailed in Iran’s northern province of Qazvin on Saturday, injuring at least five people.
The train, bound for the capital, Tehran, derailed only a few kilometers after leaving the city of Qazvin at 17:40 local time.
The incident did not result in serious casualties due to the train’s slow speed.
Five people suffered injuries and received treatment at the site of the accident.
Passengers on the doomed train boarded another train for Tehran.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
