IRNA - An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale shook Rabor County, southeastern Province of Kerman, Iran, on Thursday.
According to Iran's National Seismological Center, the tremor occurred at 9:49 hours local time (05:19 GMT).
The epicenter of the quake was registered at 15 km of Rober in the depth of 50 km.
No report on possible damage to life or properties has been released yet.
Iran sits on major fault lines and is prone to near-daily earthquakes.
