'Police not to let anybody undermine Iran’s security'

7 Aug 2018 - 17:52

MNA – Iran’s Police force will not let anybody compromise the security of the country and that of Islamic Revolution, said Iranian Police Chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari.

He made the remarks on Tuesday in Iran’s central province of Yazd in a ceremony held for introducing the new police chief of the province.

Touching upon sanctions which have been imposed against the country by enemies, Ashtari added, these measures are not new and they can reveal true advantages if the country follows Leader of Islamic Revolution’s advices in this regard.

“We are in a situation where it is necessary to maintain our readiness in every aspect and to stand on our own two feet and not let enemies achieve their sinister goals,” he added.

Highlighting that the enemy is using social media for stirring up unrest in Iran, Ashtari said that these plots have been foiled by people and security forces and this trend will continue in the future as well.

He went on to say that the police can differentiate between common people and those who pursue their own interests during unrests.
