IRNA – Head of Iran-Ghana parliamentary friendship group Hossein Amiri Khamkani visited Accra, capital of Ghana, at the head of a parliamentary delegation on Monday.
The Iranian delegation is to meet with their counterparts, parliament speaker, vice-speaker, foreign minister, minister of natural resources and territorial affairs and minister of health to discuss issues of mutual interests and ways to develop and expand politico-economic and parliamentary relations.
Ghana is located in western Africa and gained its independence from Britain in 1957.
Ghana is the second producer of gold after South Africa and has always had growing trend of economic ties with Iran and the sixth joint economic commission meeting were held in November 2017.
