Velayati wants Iran, France cooperation on Syria
Iran’s former foreign minister Ali Akbar Velayati would “cooperate” with France to resolve the conflict in Syria should he win the June 14 presidential election, he said in an exclusive interview with AFP. “My offer, if I am victorious, is that Iran and France sit together to talk, and work together, to find a political solution to the Syrian crisis,” Velaytai said. “I am ready to do it.”

 
U.S. blacklists global network of Iranian ‘front’ companies
A global network of private companies were blacklisted by the United States on Tuesday for providing revenue to the Iranian government and helping Tehran evade international sanctions on its nuclear program, the U.S. Treasury Department said.

A senior cleric has called on Iran’s presidential candidates to adhere to the Constitution while avoiding mudslinging against their rivals and pro-Western gestures.
