ISNA – Tivoli, a product of SsangYong Motor Company which is the fourth largest South Korean-based automobile manufacturer, will be produced in Iran by early March 2019, Ramak Khodro Car Company announced.

Javad Adine, member of Ramak Khodro Car Company’s board of directors said, “We have signed a 7-year deal with SsangYong Motor Company last year to produced three models of cars in Iran”.

“SsangYong would open its first car manufacturing factory in Iran. The new facility is under construction now and is expected to come on stream in February 2019,” he added.

“According to the agenda, the experimental production of Tivoli will start from mid-December and the mass production of it will be launched from mid-February,” the official went on to say.

“After that, two other models of SsangYong Motor Company will be produced in Iran.”

Ramak Khodro has a deal with the South Korean automaker SsangYong and currently assembles Tivoli and Korando in Iran.
