MNA – Speaking at a cabinet meeting on Sunday evening, President Rouhani emphasized appreciated Ayatollah Khamenei’s guidelines on handling the economy in the face of US sanctions.







In the cabinet meeting that was held right after the members of the cabinet of Hassan Rouhani were received by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Khamenei on Sunday afternoon, President Rouhani appreciated the Leader for supporting the government and his guidelines and emphasized serious determination of all members of the government to fully follow and implement his guidelines.

Stating that today, the government is carrying the heavy burden of people’s hope and trust to solve their problems, Rouhani said that everybody’s cooperation is essential for effective confrontation with enemies.

Iranian president also expressed hope that by relying on national capabilities, people’s resolve, full cooperation of private sector and serious efforts of officials, the future path would be brighter and enemies’ routes for infiltration would remain closed.

In the evening meeting, the cabinet approved regulations for allocating credit for supporting job-generating plans.

During the yesterday afternoon meeting between Iran’s Leader and the members of Rouhani’s cabinet, Ayatollah Khamenei called for support for the government in the face of foreign economic sanctions, and called the Rouhani's administration to take decisive actions against corruption and criminal financial activities.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution also called on the state radio and TV to reflect a correct image of the government efforts.
