MNA � Vice-President for Women and Family Affairs Masumeh Ebtekar delivered President Rouhani�s letter regarding Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) to Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohammad.







In a Tuesday meeting in Putrajaya, the officials of the two countries discussed various issues, including bilateral ties, JCPOA and regional and international topics.

Extending warm greetings of Iranian president Hassan Rouhani, Ebtekar handed his letter on JCPOA to the Malaysian Prime Minister.

She also congratulated Mohammad for his victory in recent Malaysian election.

Mahathir Mohammad, for his part, emphasized the continuation of bilateral ties between the two countries.

Ebtekar also met with Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah during his one-day visit to the Southeast Asian country.

The officials discussed regional issued and ways to further cement bilateral cooperation.
