IRNA – Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade reported on Sunday that non-oil exports stood at 18.8 million tons valued at $7.7 billion (6.4 billion euro) over the first two Iranian months up to May 20, up by 4.8 percent in terms of weight and 21.9 percent in terms of value compared to the corresponding period last year.
According to Presidential Office website, a cabinet session headed by President Hassan Rouhani reviewed a report by the ministry on indices and its major measures over the first two months.
The report further noted that banking facilities to the industry and mine sector hit 21,000 billion tomans over the same period, registering an increase of 13 percent compared to the figure for the corresponding period last year while the figure for the trade sector surged by 49 percent.
