IRNA – Three Turkmen who were detained because of entering the Iranian waters in the Caspian Sea were delivered to the Turkmen authorities, said the commander of the Atrak border police in Golestan Province on Sunday.
'Sending the three Turkmens to their country was done upon an order from Iranian authorizes,' said Colonel Mohammad-Reza Saravani.
The three people had entered the Iranian waters in the Caspian Sea and were arrested by the Iranian police.
Iranian police fired warning shots and eventually arrested them; but unfortunately, in similar incidents, the Turkmen police fired directly at the Iranian sailors, that ended in their death, Colonel Saravani said.
