IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received a number of poets and literati late Wednesday.


During the meeting, some poets recited their poems prior to the speech of the Supreme Leader.

The meeting is also attended by several non-Iranian Persian-language poets.

The meeting is being held at the night of birth anniversary of Imam Hassan Mojtaba (AS), the second Shia Imam, in the middle of the fasting month of Ramadan.
