MNA – The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army Abdolrahim Mousavi is on a tour to Iranian southwestern province of Khuzestan to make an evaluation of the forces’ readiness in that region.
Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, the Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army paid an official visit to defense units based in south eastern borders and regions of Iran.
During the visit, the Commander of Khatam Al-Anbia Air Defense Base Brigadier General Farzad Esmaili and a host of deputies and advisors accompanied Major General Mousavi.
The visit was aimed to check the readiness, capabilities, efficiency of tools and equipment, and the creativity of the defense units.
Visiting bases in Ahvaz and Mahshahr and also the IRGC defense base of Ghadir, Major General Mousavi lauded the readiness of the forces.
According to a report by Iran’s army, assessment for improving living conditions of the army staff stationed in that region was another objective of the visit.
