IRNA – Iran envoy to the UK Hamid Baeidinejad in a meeting with Emily Thornberry, Shadow Foreign Secretary reviewed issues related to foreign relations.

“I am grateful to Emily Thornberry the UK Shadow Foreign Secretary, for the opportunity to have fruitful discussions on a wide range of issues of common interest,” Baeidinejad said in a Twitter message.

In the British political tradition, in addition to the state secretary, the opposition government is currently from labor party and has a full cabinet, including the secretary of state who is called the secretary of state in the shadow, he said in an Instagram post.

Emily Anne Thornberry is a British Labour Party politician who has been the Member of Parliament for Islington South and Finsbury since the 2005 general election.

This is while, newly-appointed ambassador of UK to Tehran Rob Macaire started his mission today.
