IRNA – Majlis (Parliament) of Iran in a statement here on Tuesday expressed its overwhelming support for domestic products.

'Support for national products will lead to boosting employment and developing the policies on the Economy of Resistance,' the statement stressed.

The lawmakers declared their readiness to use Majlis supervisory tools in line with implementation of New Year's motto announced by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on the first day of the Iranian new Year, March 21.

Ayatollah Khamenei named the new Iranian calendar year as the year of 'Support for Iranian Products.'

Also a working group has been formed in Majlis to provide reports on counter-smuggling moves in the country.
