IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, heading a politico-economic delegation, left Tehran for Africa and South America on Sunday.
Zarif is to hold talks with political, economic and parliamentary officials of Senegal, Brazil, Uruguay and Namibia, Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said.
Iranian FM is also to attend bilateral economic meetings in these countries and to deliver speeches at research centers, he added.
Scores of officials in economic, financial and knowledge-based fields from state and private sectors will accompany Zarif during his trip.
