IRNA – Russian Ambassador to Tehran Levan Dzhagaryan said on Saturday that close cooperation between Moscow and Tehran can help alleviate regional crisis.


He said in a meeting with Majlis Special Advisor for International Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in Tehran on Saturday.

In the meeting, he called the role of parliaments in bolstering and strengthening of mutual, regional and international cooperation of high prime importance.

Amir Abdollahian, for his part, described the meeting as very positive, and said interaction between the two parliaments will help expand relations and cooperation between the two countries.

The two sides also exchanged views on setting up the second high parliamentary commissions between the two countries.
