IRNA – Two members of a dissident group called ‘Restart’ were arrested in the city of Mahallat, Markazi province, on Sunday by the Basij (volunteer) forces.


Colonel Ezzatollah Nazmabadi who is in charge of public relations department of Markazi province’s Islamic Revolution Guards Crops (IRGC) told IRNA late on Sunday that based on the information available and confessions of the arrested persons, ‘Restart’ had link with elements outside the country .

The arrested people have damaged public properties and committed acts of vandalism such as setting fire to the door of Friday prayer leader’s office and a mosque, he said.

The arrested elements were handed over to judicial authorities for further investigation, he said.
