IRNA – Qatari Defense Minister Khalid Mohammad Al Attiyah who is currently in Washington called on the US to hold talks with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Speaking at a conference in Washington, he urged the US to seek dialogue with Iran to help foster stability in the region.
“The US should strive for serious dialogue with Iran, because if it fails to do so the region will face a catastrophe,” he said.
