Tasnim – A senior Iranian military official called on the international community to support the American people in their struggle against the “evil administrations” ruling the United States.
In comments on Monday, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Massoud Jazayeri said the world should fully support the American nation’s anti-government demonstrations and opposition to the evil administrations in the US.
Calling for international efforts to stop the suffering of the American people and other nations under the US hegemony, the general said part of the US society is a supporter of Iran and demands an end to Washington’s aggressive policies.
Continuation and intensification of unrest in the US would remind its politicians that they should stop interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, he added.
His comment came after huge crowds of people took part in women's marches across the US on Saturday to protest the US president's policies.
The rallies took place exactly one year after Donald Trump took office, and one day before the anniversary of the Women's March, a large-scale protest around the world for human rights.
The rallies were a response to statements Trump had made before his inauguration which the protesters regarded as being against women's rights, discriminatory and offensive.
